What is CareerLIFT?
CareerLIFT is a free online education and training platform. Job seekers, interns, and employees can find industry courses, resume-building resources, interviewing tips, and support for starting or growing their career.
Expanding career learning opportunities helps to uplift and empower individuals to achieve their goals and improve their overall quality of life.
Courses
CareerLIFT courses are created in partnership with Western Dakota Technical College to address essential skills and knowledge of several high-demand industries in the Black Hills area including healthcare, construction, and customer service.
Employer Partnerships
Elevate Rapid City partners with local employers to provide participants with a guaranteed job interview in their industry of interest once they complete the CareerLIFT program.
The guaranteed job interview does not guarantee an offer of employment. However, the skills assessment, sample resume, and other CareerLIFT resources help participants prepare for a successful job interview.
